    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

There is one in the west wing that I’m pretty sure is historically designated

    Ontario Northland/Northern Ontario Transportation

Yeah, new GO and subway stations being built right now are noticeably more simple than ones that Metrolinx was building 10 years ago. I think the only exception to this is Exhibition GO/TTC station. Even the recent BRT guidelines Metrolinx released recommends building stations as simple and...

    Transit Fantasy Maps

I know this technically isn’t a map, but it has all of my maps inside it. I reached 200 GO Transit centred maps today!

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

GO Expansion definitely will do that, and travel times might just be good enough to not require express trains. Only time will tell though (for the record I’m not disagreeing with you, I think Barrie express trains would be great)

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

The CSA can’t do it either, because they need to deploy the ramp at the raised platform for people to get on/off. In the past they had a second CSA staged at Guelph to literally board trains and operate the doors from the 10th coach, then get off and wait for the next train to do it again...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

There is space for a third track, but as I mentioned before the possibility of it being used (anytime soon at least) is low

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I wouldn’t put your money on Barrie Line express trains, but if they did happen then what you described is exactly what would end up happening

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

There is space intentionally left for a third track, like at Rutherford and Downsview, but it’s highly unlikely to be used

GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

I don’t understand the horn stuff, it’s literally just something to get people’s attention and it’s not supposed to sound pretty

For the CEMs, how often was GO using the flat cab cars mid train before the cab cars were refit with an additional door earlier this year that allowed the consist splits? I don’t think it happened before this year, and wasn’t a problem to GO, so railfans not liking the CEMs for that reason is...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Makes a good addition to my PRESTO collection

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

That was what I was thinking it might be back when I made those diagrams, after seeing some stuff I don’t think we’ll be seeing triple-berthing at Union, so likely no C platforms. Nothing is confirmed to us yet but I believe the platforms split down the middle and will have E and W to signify...

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Younger cousin haha, I wouldn’t go off either of these maps anymore, I know the design of the platforms has rapidly changed since both of those were made. Besides that, I also improved the one I made last year, here’s the newer version (the platform numbers we’re just my imagination, not...

Yeah other agencies have them exactly where the yellow strips on are coaches are:

GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

The B end? Like an entire half of the coach dedicated to luggage storage?? That’s too much storage space lol. Removing 50% of the bike racks from the bike coaches is also not a great idea, there’s not enough demand for luggage storage on trains with bike coaches, not to mention luggage can fit...

GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

I’m sure GO knows how to operate this equipment better than us, they’ve been doing it for almost 50 years

    VIA Rail

But the big VIA Rail logo that spans 2 coaches doesn’t? posting this a second time because you clearly missed it the first time

    VIA Rail

That’s not just a decal, half of the A in the VIA logo is on the side of that coach

    Transit Fantasy Maps

Here’s a map on the GO Transit Lakeshore Line initial proposal in the early 1960’s: Also did a version of the map that shows what the line ended up looking like upon opening:
