She didnt seem to fight too hard on 100 Ranleigh ave to the north. Supported its approval at council. Of course, it's on the north side of Lawrence...

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

city hall is an eyesore to me. panorama isnt anything special. same with ice. I think my issue is that they are all just ovals or circular tubes with wraparound balconies. Really the only good curved building in this area is the absolute towers in mississauga imo.

i dont know. I have yet to see a curved building in this town that was any good.

    Toronto 159SW Condos | 118.87m | 36s | Alterra | Richmond Architects

bottom line is, almost every application in the core is too small to be deemed a site to meet the tall buildings guidelines. So, for staff to say that the adjacent site is too small is laughable. What else would they say. Someone can do a tall building with a blank wall on one side and suddenly...

They're ALL just another city councillor. Any councillor that says differently is 'just another city councillor'. Human nature.

    Toronto 159SW Condos | 118.87m | 36s | Alterra | Richmond Architects

I for one believe that the councillor should have some descretion on this stuff as planning staff sticks to some of their dogmatic ideas on projects without looking at the context of the buildings. However, these councillors better understand that these decisions to look the other way will come...

where does it say that she waived the requirement for the tower separation agreement? in the original staff report, staff recommended one, but it wasnt even a requirement in the draft by-law. am i missing something here?

26 Alexander St (zoning review requests)

12.5m? i cant even see them giving 5.5m on each side. my guess is a blank wall on the apartment side and units facing onto the park with windows on lot line? that property looks like it can't be much more than 25 feet wide. its not like shadowing on the park will be an issue with 501 yonge being...

well, they are called 'guidelines' for a reason. they have no legal planning status aside from the fact that its a wish list of what they would like to see. They will use it as a hammer against small developers but the big developers can pretty much ignore it. I always love how planners leave...

    Toronto Stanley Condominiums | 138.37m | 41s | Tribute | Core Architects

365 church was already approved at the OMB for 30 storeys last year. So given this is a much more prominent corner, you know whatever being proposed will be much higher than 30. i wouldnt be surprised north of 40s.

    10 York St (Condos @ 120 Harbour, Tridel) - Real Estate -

not many will buy parking in that area anyways so $378,000 for a 1BR+D isnt so crazy compared to some other areas in the city.
