I wonder if Line 5 will appear on the LED maps.

If they are going to shut the RT down anyway they could have saved time and built the subway in the RT corridor's place.

There would have to be a wait and see as to how the improved GO would work out in order to determine where best an extension could go.

This probably won't be a priority until at least the 2030s so we probably won't ride such extensions until about 2050.

Once up on a time there was a loop extension to bypass Union and have Line 1 go down to Queens Quay.

So for the Queen Street closure that must be for mining out all the space underground necessary for the transfers there and stuff.

We'll never ride it because they'll ultimately decide to put the whole thing in mothball.

So now they want to extend it to the new Ontario Place.

Then next it'll be the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket.

They could call it Yorkgate.

They can confidently say before 2025 and leave it at that.
