    I was shocked at the rents of the smaller res buildings on Wellington, many of them have enormous terraces bigger than the unit or multiple balconies, and they seem to have counted the outside square footage as if it were actually useable space. There are very tiny units that have 3x the space...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

    There are more towers coming to this intersection and Bathurst Street is a densification corridor zoned for midrise. Also, they were all filled before the development and if the neighbourhood was able to support shops on a quiet side street (Markham) before this development, surely there is...

    I could not be more disappointed that 5 fine grain retail storefronts have been merged into one spot for this stupid college outpost. There was nowhere else they could have put this? So annoying. Why does it need to occupy a ground floor? That could have been a coffee shop, a barber, a flower...

    This is hideous. The warehouse mimicry doesn’t match or compliment the heritage building. The warehouse mimicry is of a totally different era, it looks like the buildings they tore down on Dupont or the industrial buildings that used to be south of Union Station. The brick colour should contrast...

    It's at Dundas Square on Yonge Street lol Why not add to it? There are billboards just north of this at the corner of Gerrard. Also I believe it would be approved instantly as that area is a special advertising/signs district like Chinatown and Koreatown where it is encouraged.

    Seems like a real missed opportunity for the condo owners not to have some enormous advertising space on that; they could be raking in cash if they added some, lower the condo fees, worry less about the condo reserve fund. Put a mechanical floor right above the heritage buildings with giant tv...

    I kinda hate this, looks like an amusement park. I thought this was supposed to be a natural marsh with a boardwalk around it and some lookout spots. This is more human recreation focused than nature wilderness focused. The Bentway would be a much better spot for an art trail.

    Super curious if this is leased. Wealthsimple actually opened their brand new office at 80 Spadina around the time you posted this. There are 2 office tower proposals next to their 80 Spadina office, 96 Spadina to the north and 460 King to the south, but their heritage office building appears...

    To be fair… every rendering of this project was a sunset or nighttime rendering, so we really haven’t been duped seeing as we never saw daytime shots lol Very odd since this building will not be touched by sunset glow. And very odd colour choices here though regardless.

    I wish that the ground floor retail windows were gonna be circles like the building they tore down.

    It's in the same range of the towers being built next to it, to the west of it, and northeast of the highway from it.

    I just went through the same mind boggling. So it's number 8 on this plan which is outlined in the same triangle shape as the proposal and that lighter green box was just a place holder. There will definitely have to be some adjustments made to the tower just south of it, those seem too close...

    557-563 King West - possible assembly.

    I saw the interior of this place posted on Instagram when they had an influencer launch party... very odd decor choices. Most of the lighting is LED which really belongs in a nightclub, not a restaurant, and they have these massive blue glam chandeliers that look right out of 2009. They also...

    730 Yonge Street (University of Toronto, ?s, ?}

    I would love little restaurant patios here or seating of any kind really. A water feature encircled by seating. Also some rooftop restaurants/patios, there could be 2 of them.

    From the exceptionally sunny Sunday the 24th. Blocking off the CN Tower view for much of the Westend.
