I'm just curious; what are you spraying with? I'm not 100% sure on this, but I was under the impression that PCOs can't spray without a reason (ie they need to actually see a bed bug before they will spray bed bug chemicals).

    Regent Park

I shopped there today. The produce is indeed quite fresh, and the store's layout is nice. I found it a tad expensive for a discount supermarket, but it is Sobeys, afterall. Still, I was able to pick up a few things I can't get at No Frills.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

The woman who sold me the pass told me that it was because of the HST.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Apologies if this is not the right thread for this post, but I just read this on the CBC's website: Apparently, GO transit is looking into using the shoulder of the DVP for GO buses. Thoughts, anyone?

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I just bought a new one last week, and I, too, was annoyed by the price hike (and the HST, but that's another story). But you know what annoyed me even more? GO/VIA Paks now expire after a year.

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Some information on the potential Halton-Peel freeway:

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

Is the ARL supposed to have its own dedicated track or will it be sharing with everything else? I wondered this the other day while waiting for a VIA train to pass so that the GO train I was riding could proceed.

    GO Niagara

I would take this service. It's somewhat pricy I suppose, but I am used to the somewhat pricy cost of commuting to Union from the end of a GO line. I'm glad they've added a Friday train.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I'm hoping that at least the new platform will mean that the last GO train out of Georgetown will no longer have to wait until the Via train clears out of Brampton station. That's been much less a problem than it was a few years ago, but it's still irksome. As a GO transit customer, I am, by...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I asked Presto exactly this question. Here's the answer: Thank you for contacting PRESTO. PRESTO is a partnership involving Ministry of Transportation, GO Transit and nine municipal transit authorities: . Oakville Transit . Burlington Transit . Brampton Transit . Mississauga Transit ...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

    Oh, heck. It doesn't work.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

In some ways, yes. But personally, no. I prefer not transfering, and I prefer the seats on the bus by a large margin. I'm not incredibly annoyed with the change, but the 6:35 is luxurious, by public transit standards. Also, the 6:35 gets you to Georgetown by 7:41 or earlier--for a time, the 6:35...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I haven't taken a good look at what service will be like for those who go from Brampton or Bramalea, but there is no increase in service for mid-day Georgetown or Mount Pleasant passengers. I guess Georgetown doesn't really matter so much (and I say this as a resident of Georgetown) because I...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I just read the "service" update for the Georgetown line and nearly passed out. Apparently, I have chosen the best possible time to move to Toronto.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

I, too, am doubtful that more assigned seating would get rid of the lines. All it takes is one person lining up, and the rest of the passengers start worrying that they should line up, too. It's not a Toronto-specific problem, either. I witnessed a line wrapping around the entire Gare Central...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I'm willing to bet that GO is trying to give themselves more hours in the day to work on the diamond. At the rate of 1 or 2 piles a day, I don't think GO could fulfill their plan to ramp up service in 2015.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I agree, the midday Bramalea-only trains are horrible. I take the bus to Yorkdale whenever possible.

    Brampton: Mt. Pleasant Mobility Hub

I hope and pray the person you talked to at GO just didn't know what was going on behind the scenes. Unfortunately, she was probably right that there will be no increases in service. But I think she made up the bit about the demand. I've seen mid-day Lakeshore trains that are practically...
