I mean, I just see no other way. It's not "rapid transit" when you have to switch buses at every municipal boundary, and I don't think MiWay or the others would be interested in serving a route going from Kipling subway station to Burlington

I wonder how this will get implemented in Halton, if at all. The full reconstruction of Dundas in Oakville and Burlington is wrapping up and the only "bus infrastructure" thrown in there are inserts for the bus stops
Also, the Palermo transit terminal is strangely not in the Town of Oakville's...
Given how she was already 101 by the time the LRT line was named after her, I don't see how you think that it was only supposed to be named after her for the rest of her life...
