    They use mobile cranes, as you are right, most of the tower cranes aren't meant for those weights.

    Not sure where I had heard it, but I believe the parking lot has a limit of development due to a Toronto By-Law preserving the view of the Dome from the Islands. https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/bylaws/2013/law0468.pdf Page 16* has a reference to it. Cheers

    Very quick to judge. I for one would be happy paying more taxes if it meant that the extra money went to a better subway system and the surface bus/streetcars that serve the city. I believe there are plenty of people in this city that would agree, but mismanagement for decades has made the load...
