    I agree, having TH units right on Bathurst Street is not ideal. It’s in close proximity to Bloor and the subway station so it would make sense to have retail along Bathurst to improve the pedestrian realm.

    Funny, this panel is on the 2nd floor, not much distance to hoist up and it got damaged, but it was one of the first inset precast panels installed so it’s probably the result of the worker’s learning curve. I prefer the look of the darker panel.

    Still curious about this lone dark precast panel. Will the other panels be stained the same colour? The subtle contrast will look much nicer throughout the building especially against the dark bronze windows. Don’t know why they were not stained before installation.

    I always thought that this property would be eventually combined with 490 Adelaide and something up to 17 storeys would be built here (similar to Minto’s 123 Portland next to it). A 2-storey building seems like such a waste, a 5- or 6-storey commercial building would work nicely here.
