    Toronto | Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

The "lipstick on a pig" people want no roof (or a transparent roof), and way less concrete in/outside the building. Both of those things aren't achievable. They're fixing literally everything else though.

They released 2023 season ticket pricing today.

Ticket prices for next year looking steep

I wish they could find a way to get some daylight in when the roof is closed, but it looks like the covered just about everything else.

    Toronto | 250 King East | 139.5m | 43s | Emblem Developments | IBI Group

I wonder how much the City of Toronto's new development charges affect these new projects.

Is this retail space still slated for Aquavato and a dental office? I would kill for a bar in this area with food a touch nicer than Betty's. I guess I'll have to keep waiting.

    2022 43rd Ontario general election (June 2, 2022)

People in Brampton electing the PCs is a big time lol. One of the lowest income suburbs in the GTA, voting for a party that won't do a single thing to help low income individuals.

    2022 43rd Ontario general election (June 2, 2022)

I hate the PCs, but I have to admit they are great at getting votes from people voting directly against their own best interests.

    2022 43rd Ontario general election (June 2, 2022)

While I would love the PCs to only get a minority, I'm very skeptical about it. Though I would have to imagine more early votes are bad for DoFo. So maybe we'll get lucky. I can see some polls being wrong, but all of them being wrong would be pretty implausible.

    2022 43rd Ontario general election (June 2, 2022)

Looking like another DoFo majority, ugh. How badly to the Liberals need to do to replace Del Duca?

    Mayor John Tory's Toronto

The current state of Toronto's City council is horrific. Along with Tory, the band of do-nothing idiots are holding this City back from becoming great. And I don't know how the fix it, the inner suburbs have too much negative influence on the City as a whole.

Toronto | Ontario Line (was Relief Line South, in Design) | ?m | ?s

The time from grade to track level will influence riders in different ways. A commuter riding the whole line won't really care. But if you need to take a quick trip for a few stops, if it takes you 3-5 minutes to get from grade-track on both ends, you may use another mode of transportation.

Toronto | Ontario Line (was Relief Line South, in Design) | ?m | ?s

Does the line actually need to be this deep? The travel times from the surface will be atrocious. Will make short streetcar trips more attractive than using the OL for some trips.

Judging by the pictures they must be at least a year away from occupancy. Very long construction period on this one.

I'm sure it will look better in game because they will partition off different areas of the screen to displayer different graphics, information etc. So it won't end up being 1 image stretched over that very awkward shape. But even still, it's clear they bastardized the screen, probably due to a...

Just because the batters aren't looking at the skyline you could still have a cutout in the upper bowl down the 3rd base line that shows off the downtown skyline.

    Toronto | 191 Sherbourne | 49.4m | 15s | Gladman | Zeidler Partnership Architects

Because every councilor treats the area like shit to avoid having to put anything undesirable in their wards.

    Toronto | Ontario Line: Moss Park Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

This one is pretty inoffensive. I'm actually glad this one is all glass.

10-15 years allows the Ontario line to get built and the Port Lands to be developed.

When When I looked at some of the very simple plans online, it looked like the corridors in the midrise portions were all interconnected. IE. you could walk from a unit in the SW corner all the way around the bend to a unit in the SE corner. If that is true, I don't understand how it isn't one...
