Looks like a lot more pedestrian walking space which is great!

Edge Towers (Solmar) - Real Estate -

I've never had mould and mildew grow on my floors. It's an interesting option; aside from the anti-bacterial benefits (questionable IMHO), it seems like this is an option you would choose for your upstairs neighbour (as saynotofaux mentioned) for your own peace of mind. :)

    St Lawrence Market

Well I can understand that it's hard for the merchants as they are working extra hours now. But hopefully the economics works out to justify it (at least financially).

Same! I love seeing the big ship and crane at Sugar Beach.

Ah!, I was in Tadoussac just a couple of months ago for a few hours. Took the free ferry across for the fun of it and it is a nice town. Yeah the rendering is both good and bad; the placeholders are a tad too cartoon-ish giving it an childish feel. I can understand the OP's thoughts that it...

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons I guess they are doing something right? :D

Overall much better than I thought which is a relief. Having a community centre there is great - it'll be great for the office workers as well. Pipe dream, but a PATH like underground network would be really nice to have.

Canada Qualifies for 2022 World Cup.

From: I'm surprised they have us ranked that high - 16 out of 32. I recall we are in a pretty tough group, and so getting past the group stage is all I'm hoping for.

Ah yes!, it's west. My wife is always chastising my east/west when driving - just give me "turn right" or "turn left" instructions! Thanks for the link as well, I'll try to snap some pictures and post it there.

There's digging continuously happening in the site directly east to this (which is also not part of Lakeside). It seems to be very slow progress, but at least the machinery is moving and doing something there. Not sure if it's the same developer/owner though.

Problematic Park Design - Why Some Parks Don't Work

I like the muskoka chairs, but it'd be nice to have more picnic tables - especially in bigger parks like Harbour Square.

Some work on the rooftop (this past Saturday and Sunday): The red trucks drove off sometime after the last picture, and so I guess the heavy lifting is all done.

Working from home vs. commuting to work during and after the pandemic

Some divisions of my company have been pushing hard for people going back to office at least 3 days a week. Thankfully my division management doesn't care at all if we stay WFH, and so far, their management hasn't been pushing them. But from speaking with others who are being nudged back in...

St. Lawrence Condos at 158 Front St East (Cityzen, Fernbrook Homes) - Real Estate -

Is this supposed to be your TV wall? Regardless, I can see your frustration. That's just a horrible way to design/place all those elements. The thermostat should be closer to the light switches, and the heat pump shouldn't be in the middle like that. One thing I always look out for when...

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

Starting yesterday (Monday June 6th), I noticed that their coffee cups are bending/flexing(?) more than before. I usually bring it home and drink without the cap on, and I noticed immediately when I grabbed the coffee cup, there was much less resistance. Maybe it's just my imagination, but...

Definitely push them to get things fixed. Put it on the Tarion PDI form. Phone jacks may be a building code thing, and possibly data-enabled? Would need pics of said old bathroom look, but wasn't it part of the model suite?, or did they diverge a lot from that?
