I don’t comment here very much—other things in life on the go, shall we say, but I do look. And it’s time to say something: this monstrosity just made me throw up in my mouth. Can these jerks get away with just anything in this city? It would be interesting to listen to the conversation if any...

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

It’s ok with me if we get around to renaming King and Queen. No problem at all. It’ll be in someone else’s lifetime, though.

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

And we need something for Damien Warner. Something big.

    Ok then. Perhaps “Scenic Millway”

    Toronto | TeaHouse 501 Yonge Condominiums | 170.98m | 52s | Lanterra | a—A

You’re all being generous. Site could have supported a statement piece.

I think that the revised version is fresh air. I’m totally amazed with some of the knee jerk criticisms here. So it’s perhaps a tad retro-pomo, I can’t actually find anything really wrong with that. Or, perhaps this is what nearby Aura should have been.

Toronto | Massey Hall Revitalization at the Allied Music Centre | 48.46m | 7s | KPMB

I was very pleased to hear a few years back that Essert is the acoustician. He was a large part of the success of Koerner Hall and the opera in TO. He’ll handle Massey acoustics well.

I’d give anything for some interior shots. Just sayin’

This building caused my partner and myself to crank our necks, twice, recently. It’s a beautiful building. Refreshing is the word.

    Thinking Singapore?

    Toronto | Church and Wellesley | 95.55m | 28s | ONE Properties | Graziani + Corazza

Heh heh!! What’s your ambition? To run for mayor? You could consider that. I see no one at city hall arguing for excellence and maximum public benefit from developers who make a huge bundle in this booming town... oh, perhaps there are a couple of glowing exceptions in council. You would...

    Toronto | Church and Wellesley | 95.55m | 28s | ONE Properties | Graziani + Corazza

This is a total outrage - guaranteed to feed cynicism about the current state of the development industry here in Toronto. The new proposal is not even mediocre. In fact, I’d rather see the corner stay as-is until a developer with good faith shows up. (I loved the previous version). What can...

    Toronto | 80 Bloor Street West | 250m | 72s | Krugarand | Giannone Petricone

Such a pleasure to look at this design, for so many reasons.

    Toronto | 483 Bay | 227m | 70s | Northam | IBI Group

I think this is just a bad idea. There are so many sites in downtown that could support a 70 storey tower nicely -- not this one. I wish this proposal would just go away.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

It is pathetic that the province must be asked for this. I wish the TTC could "just do it".

10 Dundas East (former Toronto Life Square, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

Deep-pocket developer needed with a dream architect tagging along - good location for a preferred hotel? This place is a shambles. I know, dreaming in technicolor.

I've read the article. Yup, in Toronto, $ overrule what the public gets to see.
