    This is why I like it, and like any building that isn't blue/green. It's why I like Time and Space Condo's. With all the blue/green glass rectangles in the city, Toronto is like one big mirror. Even though 219 Duncan is so popular on here, I'm not a fan because it's more glass/mirror looking...

    Yeah I agree, like I think one of the towers will be finished in 5 years (hopefully the supertall) and maybe the other will be closer to 8 years.

    I would think the sal 5 years after shovels in the ground? I understand it's a big project, but that seems like a long time. I guess it depends. The way skytower is going, seems like it will be done in two years, and the first building is almost done. "The One" on the other hand started...

    If the sales office is going up, I don't think it will take that long. I would think with the sales office going up, shovels in the ground would only be a few years away, then maybe like 3 years to build it. I would think closer to 5 years, but I'm just guessing.

    I don't know anything about construction, but I also have to think that with the lower floors being retail and hotel, they are more complicated. Once they get above the retail portion, the floors might be a bit more cookie cutter.

    Yeah but he would only be in charged of the financial end of it. Shapiro would remain President. I did noticed though that they mentioned the situation and Brookfield. Asset are looking to redevelop, so maybe there is some real meat on this bone.

    I'm not so sure about that. It could go either way. If you read the article, the part that I seemed to find interesting is they hint that Ed Rogers seems to want control over the team, as he's a big fan. I agree that I don't think there are any Canadians with deep enough pockets to buy the club...

    I have to admit, with all the fun we make about how slow this project is moving, with these pictures it's definitely starting show progress and I feel like we're finally going to start seeing this thing rise and move at a faster pace..

    Okay, but they don't care, so telling someone that made a comment that grey is at least a bit better then the countless the green glass rectangles in the city "absolves developers of having ambition" is reaching for straws and quite frankly uncalled for.

    Doubt they're getting new turf. Only way they get new turf is if they do a major reno (basically rebuild the stadium) or a new stadium, and if that's the case they'll end up getting grass.
