President Donald Trump's United States of America

Awaiting the firing squad, perhaps...
He is alive now as confirmed by government officials.

He donated $25 to a PAC supporting Kamala Harris's campaign, which has been seized upon as making him an "ultra-left communist terrorist" by monetised influencers looking to make quick bucks screaming about it to the terminally online idiots who waste away their lives following them on social media platforms.

I'm sure there are many layers to this rotting onion of a man, but this already smells of mental illness and attention-seeking.

There this push in a lot of circles I see on the internets that is heavily suggesting that this whole thing was staged. I am not convinced that this administration are competent to enough to pull anything like that even remotely off....rather more a deranged rando with the intent to turn Trump into Swiss cheese managed to jump a security check in a comedy of errors and the Trump and his lackeys are seizing upon the ballroom and blame Democrats narrative in the incompetence and contempt of it all. They will gladly take anything that they perceive will give them the advantage here...

...although, their rather giddy high fiving it at the press conference after the fact will likely lose their narrative with the public who will view the events here as more staged. They might as well be handing out free /tinfoil hats to everyone at this juncture, IMO.

At this rate Trump is going to exceed Hitler for the record of unsuccessful assassination attempts.
I'm waiting for the day when these guys stop trying to sneak past the secret service with a gun. That's just a recipe for failure and running up the score of unsuccessful assassination attempts. All it will take is one determined individual that flys an explosive-laced FPV drone on a fiber-optic tether. Secret service will be powerless to stop that.

Second, there is a legitimate reason for it. There is no end in sight to the war, so the nuclear carriers have to conserve food in case the deployment is extended/replenishment is jeopardized. Food replenishment probably takes a backseat to armament replenishment. Underway replenishment can range from every few days to every week or so.

That's just not how logistics works for battlegroups. I've said before that these pics are probably "midrats". That's leftovers that are available between regular meal service times. Either that or somebody is on a diet and sending their food log home.

The idea that an entire aircraft carrier is starving during high ops tempo stretches credulity. I don't think people understand how quickly ops would grind to a halt if all those people were given starvation diets. Weak and fatigued people don't mix well with fast aircraft and nuclear reactors in tight proximity.

As a point, not only is anybody touching an aircraft fed enough, but aircrew are required to eat different meals from each other to ensure that accidental food poisoning doesn't incapacitate a crew. Knowing those rules, it makes this pictures very questionable.

A different thing they'd be powerless to stop would be a *real* "inside job", i.e. a Laura Loomer going bonkers or something.

I think it's the issue of "rationing" versus "starvation" which are slightly different things...

...but I am getting a bit sick of the media here using the one source..for what reason? There's enough stuff out there that makes this administration look bad including with this war...they don't need some petty instance where a rank and file personal trolling the media with grainy shots of their meals taken in with little context. Instead it needs to be demonstrated that this is wide spread problem from multiple sources to be really newsworthy here, IMO.

"I'm not a crook!"

Sucks that the only truly airtight security exists to protect the Russian dictator. What you're describing sounds like a big hole in the system designed to protect the US  president, and unfortunately the security & intelligence systems responsible for the safety of the public probably have even more holes in them (speculation).

Laura Loomer going bonkers? She's already bonkers! Maybe Loomer having a moment of lucidity.
I'm talking about "Taliesin 1914" kind of bonkers. Essentially, she's the kind of person you can picture stabbing Trump and ripping his heart out of his body before the people in white coats carry her away screaming.

It never would have happened if he had his ballroom 🙄
The President's invite to the WHCD has always been symbolic more than literal, as it is almost always a pure roasting of the current administration. That invite, in and of itself, has always been contentious for journalists as it's often been taken as a stifle on the dinner and their ability to speak freely.

Putting it anywhere on white house grounds would basically be admitting that "trump runs the show".

It’s not a White House event so wouldn’t be there, I was just echoing (and eye rolling) his ridiculous assertion.

He should perhaps focus his energy to find solutions for the many mass shootings that happen.
