The land that the City sold in the first place on a few years ago so Ubisoft could have more parking spots. It was the previous councillor that messed this up.
Apparently, they have to build the Hurontario LRT on top first.Yes, two years to take down a fence. The Toronto Way!
As @Metroscapes uncovered last year, the land was sold in 2012 for an incompetently small sum of $145K. Whether that was Ana personally doing a favour for Ubisoft or just typical Toronto corporate incompetence, I can't say, but it was a stupid transaction which will cost us far more in the long run since it occurred after design work on the grade separation project had already started:The land that the City sold in the first place on a few years ago so Ubisoft could have more parking spots. That said, it would be frickin amazing if I could teleport from Hurontario and Rathburn (work) to The Davenport Diamond (home). I hope Metrolinx works on that next.Apparently, they have to build the Hurontario LRT on top first.
(Yes, this is a real notice.)
I imagine they'll correct the image soon, but until then...

Ana was concerned that Unbisoft would leave because according to them the lack of parking was a big issue. She told me this and also mentioned it at public meetings. I was a citizen on all the design committees for this project. Mx dropped the connection early in the process because it was clear the land would be sold. It still amazes me how this simple path is still not built. I walk by it every day and it never seems to show any progress. As @Metroscapes uncovered last year, the land was sold in 2012 for an incompetently small sum of $145K. I bet Ubisoft was bluffing. They signed the lease in that old building fully aware of the parking limitations. Sounds more like a squeaky-wheel-gets-the-grease situation.Ana was concerned that Unbisoft would leave because according to them the lack of parking was a big issue.
