Is it just me or does this appear to slope northwards a bit?!

I've been noticing that outward slope too, but couldn't tell if it was lens distortion in the photos. It really looks like it's sloping out.

Edit: The floorplans say the terraces are stepping in, but it really doesn't look like it in photos

It’s indeed sloping northwards which is the opposite of what the elevations and renders showed, it was supposed to be sloping southwards. That’s a major change from the plan. Are there any elevation drawings showing this change?

The thing is if you look at the setbacks on the balcony portion it looks like it has the proper angle wondering if this could be something to do with attaching exterior cladding or that

Toronto architects, even the good ones, have this inexplicable obsession with asymmetry. So you get random cutouts like this breaking up what would otherwise be nice straightforward massing.

Surely KPF does not deserve to be lumped in with "Toronto Architects".

Perhaps this is a gripe with "modern architecture" more broadly. I do believe this trend is particularly acute in Toronto, whether locally-designed or not.
