Well, it can be slotted as well under the "Adding more sellable GFA" bracket too. It's ugly but, it's not detracting much from this thing as a whole, given how massive it is.
Surely KPF does not deserve to be lumped in with "Toronto Architects".Toronto architects, even the good ones, have this inexplicable obsession with asymmetry. So you get random cutouts like this breaking up what would otherwise be nice straightforward massing.
Perhaps this is a gripe with "modern architecture" more broadly. I do believe this trend is particularly acute in Toronto, whether locally-designed or not.Surely KPF does not deserve to be lumped in with "Toronto Architects".
