April 8
I wonder what will happen to all the extra foam blocks that at stack-up on Hurontario St since there no other area that needs them with the Rathburn ramp in place that is waiting a concrete base to be pour for it.

This leave only a small section of guideway to be built from the ramp to the west side of Station Gate unless there is a change for it that is part of the loop expansion, Now new light poles are now in the new location, work can start on that guideway considering it was supposed in 2024 along with the Square One Station on the east side of Station Gates

Glad to see as per @drum118 that the Topflight area has been completed. I still have to inspect the OMSF area to see if they've reworked a specific area around the bus hub that used to have pylons all over it with no concrete poured.

On my drive this morning I noted the following:
  1. Crews have been busy pouring concrete for the drainage / closest to the road around Hurontario / Steeles to Hurontario / Lancashire.
  2. Between Lancashire / Sir Lou, concrete has been poured for the sections closest to the road. There's a section that has not been touched for the fire department to head NB which will more than likely see work done last.
  3. Sir Lou to the courthouse entry has seen the guideway dug up with more work to be done. It's either here or the previous section in #2 that trench boxes have been moved to for more work to be completed below.
  4. Hurontario / County Ct / Ray Lawson - We're on the 3rd phase of storm drain work which involves no left turns through any of the intersections at all. Lanes have been fully shifted over so there are no more pylons guiding vehicles in awkward positions, it's one straight line from County Ct to Steeles. The remaining section on the N/B side of the intersection that was cautioned off awkwardly has now been made a box and is ready to be dug up for guideway construction once the storm drain work is complete.
  5. S/B from intersections in #4 towards the 407, guideway construction continues with much concrete being poured for the area.
I'm impressed with the amount of work getting done, but remain ambivalent that the work will be done by October. We all know something is going to happen and they're going to have to push additional work into the new year, so we'll see what the future brings.

Given the extra cost to do the LRT, it been kick down the road if Brampton wants the BRT first. Brampton has to decide and deal with a longer timeframe as to which line they want to see built first and seeing the others not happing any time soon. For Mount Pleasant, I thought they already had that service today from what I have seen unless they are talking about a 4th track.

Metrolinx/Province have run out of money to build the transit system they want to build as a large part will start to show up on the books in the coning decades for the P3 project that are not related to transit as well the transit ones.

The OMSF guideway is done and photos will be up shortly along with other Brampton shoots. Pouring of the guideway curb could easy started on Tuesday from what we saw on Monday.

If you had waited a day, you'd see that The Paisley / Hurontario inetersection will actually be closed tomorrow at 10PM to May 18th at 10PM for guideway / track work within the intersection.

Ray Lawson / Hurontario has some more storm drain work that needs to be completed before they can shift the remaining lanes over. It'll be happening from April 10th to April 20th and will occur in three phases to keep traffic moving.

Has anyone been around Bronte College / Hurontario to see the progress on the track installation there?
Not sure if it happened on schedule, but was driving Hurontario yesterday and can confirm the Paisley intersection is closed now.

Good to know. Another one to look out for is Hurontario / John Street just outside of Cooksville Go. That one is set to close April 22nd to May 27th for the same thing.

There's also Hurontario / Pinewood Trail / Indian Valley Trail from April 17th to May 25th.

Part 2
No idea why this section of the northbound track still not pour since the interstation for Topflight open In June 2025

Only a short section of the guideway south of the 407 off ramp needing utility work before the curbs for the other haft of the guideway to Topflight can be pour. Once poured, all of the guideway base can be pour.

The last section of the northbound guideway will be compact by the 15th to allow all the guideway base to be pour from south of Ray Lawson to the Hwy 407 off ramp. All centre curb in place as well with OS poles foundations poured.
