The architectural expression here above the heritage wasn't good before.............its gotten a bit worse...........the general addition of colour is welcome in theory, but this is just a mess.

While the units here are very small, so there are somewhat fewer people per unit; I still have to take issue with 694 units to 3 elevators! That gives a ratio of 1 elevator per 231 units.

I rewrote the paragraph about elevators before publishing our front page story on this resubmission. Even though there are no laws preventing elevator service this bad, I hope saner heads prevail and Unix Housing Group realizes what kind of a life they are committing their inmates to here. The City needs to put whatever pressure they can on getting this changed.

I am actually in shock how poorly this is planned. The elevator rate is atrocious, many of the units do not meet code, the stairs and core will not work as drawn. The only saving grace is that this is still OPA/ZBA, so i hope this proposal is completely fake for a density play.
