Ground floor, more retail would be ideal, particularly on the College frontage.

Completely agree. That stretch of college has so much potential - it just needs some encouragement.

One colour / cladding material all the way up. The hell with what the City says, it just looks stupid.

I would allow some forgiveness until we see some final renders. Batay-Csorba have an excellent flair for the creative details and I wouldn't be suprised if they can make it delightful and exciting.
