Not much to report but I'll share what I saw anyway:

The rest of the scaffolding along the bridge has been taken down.

Paving work in the Bay Street entry plaza continues.

Cherry picker is fixing something above the entrance. Lights in the laneway plaza are on.

The ceiling inside is still an utter mess. Looks like they cut even more and larger holes. Whatever they're trying to fix, they haven't found it yet. At this rate there's more holes than ceiling, they should've just taken it down.

I just really need that through-way from Yonge to Bay already. Bonus points if it’s indoors.

They’re hurrying again now.

The Bay St. plaza is almost fully paved.

The lobby ceiling has been patched up.

If I were an optimist I’d say they can paint the ceiling, lay the remaining few tiles and take down the fences in a day and open this on Monday.

They are working hard today on the Yonge Street sidewalk opposite The Esplanade. I suspect we will see things opening up for or before May 1.

I still don't get what they're trying to do with an ice rink leading into May.

From CIBC Square's website:

So they're not planning to keep it there during the Spring and Summer, so why build it now?

It's likely a test fit and to make sure everything is ready for its first winter this November. May have been part of the general contract and they want that closed out now.

Lots of workers hard at it this morning. I am really looking forward to these public areas opening up this summer.

Noticed some interesting fencing has gone up directing traffic to various parts of the building. Any guesses what this is about?
