Lindvest has submitted Official Plan and Rezoning applications for the southwest corner of Highway 7 and Donald Cousens Parkway. The proposal is divided into a North Block and South Block by Romeo De Gasperis Avenue. A total of 2052 residential units are proposed in a mix of townhouse blocks and medium density blocks ranging from 3 to 20-storeys. Concept design by RAW Design:

Markham gets denser the closer you get to the greenbelt, which is wild. This is such a strange location for all this density.

Different market and zoning conditions over time (tighter and looser, respectively).

Don't worry, I have it on good authority that we'll have a HSR station just around the corner..... and in Smith's Falls.... and maybe Laval.

I'm sure we'll see lots of retail and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure in this new urbanist-ish development.
