This might have been something else, but last time I saw it 5 days ago all you could see was a hell of a lot of scaffolding. Correct me if I'm wrong though! 🤔

They would have needed temporary scaffolding while constructing those cement-block bases.

Required Work Income

$115,000 – $146,800 (3 Bedrooms)

Gross Household Income. This includes the income of every adult (18+) who will live in the home, including the purchaser(s), spouse or partner, and any other adult household member, as verified through each person’s CRA Notice of Assessment. Anyone who receives the Canada Child Benefit must disclose it.

Habitat GTA will determine your eligibility based on your family makeup and the employment income of those who will own the home (those “on title”).

Habitat GTA and its mortgage lender(s) determine how working income is calculated, and some types of government income may or may not be included.

Do you know if Habitat bought the ugly plaza on the south side where the site office for this project is located? At the minimum they're building is a tenant, and there are no other tenants there right now. It would be nice to think that the south side could be phase 2!

Its too small for a conventional tower, at ~9,000ft2, but it could see ~4-6s either a conventional habitat midrise form, or even stacked townhomes would be an improvement.

South side is apparently - "RENTED for Site Office" - only.

Landowner is private - and has held it for a long-time.

Thanks for the info. I do hope the owner sells to someone who cares; that site has been terribly neglected for ages. Waste of space as far as I'm concerned, but if it must stay 1-storey commercial in the near term, it should at least get a facelift. Someone should make sure the owners knows their as-of-right permissions now..... just sayin.
