It was KFC who kicked the can wasn't it... ;)

Demolition Man redux, KFC won the restaurant wars..... this would be their fine dining location. Deconstructed, heirloom, organic, Fried Chicken boldly seasoned with 11 herbs and spices, with fresh Mid-Southern frites, scratch-made chicken demi, with white wine, and freshly baked Buttermilk Bread with herb-infused, whipped butter. Accompanied with the finest Mint Julep, with long aged Kentucky Bourbon. Bibs by Hugo Boss.

Classic, (great), movie!
The new "IT" spot for the classy elite and for those special occasion dinners with your partner when you want to go all out!

Kidding aside, when I was a kid KFC did actually have a full service sit down restaurant location on Dundas, west of Kipling that we frequented regularly. There was nothing else like it.

...that would be awesome location if KFC moved into there instead of that fruit company. Give an extra finger lickin' goodness to the Mink Row there. 😼

Photos taken today, Friday (Mar. 27). Since I posted a week ago, only marginal progress on the tower. There is now some glass to the left of the crane on the south side on level 83, up a level from before, to match where the skin has already reached to the right of the crane. Presumably they'll start on the top level - floor 84 - soon, and the Rail Climbing Systems which installed most of the skin will be dismantled.

I actually think it is for Concord Sky just across Yonge Street, because one of the two cranes there has an orange jib, while the crane at 8 Elm has a white jib. Also, the photograph in question was taken from the east side of Yonge Street as well.
And the winner is Concord Sky.
From Yonge and Shuter on Friday - unplanned.
