Mods: Perhaps this thread should be renamed to something General Rogers Centre (Skydome), or the discussion about potential uses of the dome that have nothing to do with the renovation could be moved

It's been said many times, but I really wish the could put some kind of a finish on the concrete exterior of this place. Even a consistent grey paint job would do wonders.
murals, please!

The Level of Excellence is being replaced with a Hall of Excellence this summer - with Buck Martinez being the first inductee

for those who don't want to visit the Everything App

The positive part of me is glad there'll be some sort of exhibit to the team's history in the stadium, like many other ballparks have.

The cynical part of me thinks this is an excuse to just turn the current Level of Excellence into more and more ads.

I've suggested ivy in the past. But I think I'd settle for a minor adjustment to some of the gates. Specifically I'm thinking gate 5/6, and to some extent 2/3. They could bump out the gates and give a more appealing entrance to the building.

I agree with a nice paint job on the outside. I've talked about this with my family in the past on how a difference it would look. I did a an example of what it would look like if they did paint the outside concreate ( my choice of colour lol ). It would give a fresh look for sure.

Be careful what you wish for.

Before you end up with another bad looking arena/stadium like Scotiabank Arena.

A little too much black but I like where you're going with this.

Throwing my hat into the ring with my own take 3 to be exact and I did borrow a photo from memberJunctionTAngle to do my edits in NanoBanana. I agree with the black as a primary colour but it should be broken up somewhat with blue and white for obvious reasons 'blue jays afterall' since it's their home! Skydome image 1 I feel is more modern but reserved. Skydome image 2 add a jumbotron for that Raptors Jurassic park vibe and is more loud with with Blue Jays branding. Skydome image 3 would hide the concrete altogether with a modern metal skin with led lighting and the entire stadium can project images, colours or even the game happening inside. This is a bit like the sphere in Las Vegas. So that is my 3 cents! 😄
