Hamiltonians are known worldwide for their class, c'monVancouver and Toronto sold out.
True.Hamiltonians are known worldwide for their class, c'mon
Plus, perhaps Cardi B of several years ago would have sold out both. I don't follow her, but I think she was bigger pre pandemicTrue.
To be fair, the Toronto date on March 30 existed for a while before the Hamilton date on March 31 was added, so a lot of the demand was sucked up by the Toronto date and the Hamilton date was handicapped from the start.
I wonder what things would be like if the Hamilton date were announced first.
Vancouver and Toronto sold out.
We are in danger of breaking Cardi B's sellout streak on March 31. There are about 3500 tickets currently listed as available on Ticketmaster and Cardi is not happy with us.

It seems they sold out or knew they'd sell out Toronto, and figured they'd add a second date at a cheaper arena closer to the States. Issue is a bunch of fans from GHA likely didn't think she'd come to Hamilton and bought tickets for Toronto show long before Hamilton was announced. From her comments, it sounds like she doesn't truly sell out anyways.
A couple weeks to go, I'm sure there'll be an extra 2k sold one way or another.
Maybe a little concerning for the Oak View Group (or whoever has the money invested)? Enough to make them buy up some tickets and comping them?
I'm sure they don't want other acts to think that a show in Hamilton isn't needed when you've already booked Toronto. However, 90% sold is still a good enough reason to play in a city IMO.
Yeah. Hamilton is getting a lot of flack from people online, but the weak-ish sales are mostly because the show was tacked on well after the first Toronto one was booked. It seems they sold out or knew they'd sell out Toronto, and figured they'd add a second date at a cheaper arena closer to the States.
