Guys, I’m not liking this one a bit. Sorry.

It’s such a terrible mishmash of stuff. The colors are alright, but the lopsided and wonky massing, the jumbled fenestration, and blank-ish East wall ruin it for me.

The design doesn’t read as anything, either. It’s not traditional nor modern, just amateur utilitarian junk.

It seems like they’re trying to do a lot with a little 💲

Simple and classic would’ve been more admirable.

Yea, I don't see what's wrong with this. Sure, it's a bit awkward looking, and with different cladding colours that are a bit abrupt, but the building itself fits well in its site and lends itself well to this historic area, by using masonry instead of glazing.

There are still so many windows to install, and so much panelling to go up, it's nowhere near giving off its finished look yet. I'm not sure I'll ever like the colour of the upper panels (I love the purply-red ironspot ones in the ground realm though), but I know the building is going to look a lot better when complete than it does now, and it feels premature to write it off completely.

I like it less the taller it gets but it's adding much-needed density in this part of town and I will almost always take that over the status quo.
