This is really interesting. Large heritage factory complex to be converted to mixed-use complex. Not much information.

This is NOT the reason the City of Stratford has banned 2 ppl. The City's reasoning goes back to a Council meeting in February 2024 on a completely different matter. Mr. Sullivan has also been banned from other City properties such as the Stratford Public Library. Upon arriving at the statutory pm on June 27, all members of the public found the doors to City Hall locked. We had to be admitted by security.

...sounds like the guy is a real asshat. Just saying.
 
Just FYI, the one photo in the first post of the factory building with train tracks and white pickup truck in forground is not this development. That building is in Kitchener. Same for the smaller photo next to it.
 
For anyone else who can't see the Instagram link provided by @rdaner (link may be broken or post removed, is what I see), the OLT appeal by CN has been settled.

Even in a context like Startford, I'm not entriely convinced that the use of the word "tower" is the best choice when referring to a chunky 10-storey building, but I digress.

Would love to see this move forward - what a great addition to Stratford it would make.
