I previously noted something of an assembly by Safehaven in the Bloor-Dufferin (Fitzrovia) thread.

I noted it there, as the TDSB's existing parking lot on Brock, continguous (more or less) to the lands in that thread was set to be declared surplus and sold to Safehaven.

Bousfields has now registered to lobby on this, so its time to give it its own thread.

First, a link back to the first place where this was discussed on UT:

Then a link to the TDSB Report:

Looks like they're prospecting something in the range of 14 to 15 storeys by the look at that conceptual rendering, which will add a good amount of housing along with new spaces for the other facilities. The 2 storey building where "The Three Speed" just east of this subject redevelopment site also appears to be maintained so I'm cool with that. :)

It loses some retail, but I don't know that that would have a lot of impact. It looks like the new build would have one retail slot, versus the current three (Queen's Shop salon, a Subway sandwich, and the music therapy centre which doesn't do much to animate the street). Feels like a wash.
