Not as embedded greenery, no. Think of them as furniture - if a unit owner wants to maintain potted plants on their balcony, they'll be welcome to, but Qiyi City Forest Garden or Bosco Verticale this aint.

This one ultimately passed at full Council, on June 14th, 2023.

It did, however, pass with some minor, but noteworthy amendments (which occurred at the TEYCC meeting)

I'm intrigued by motion patterns in respect of development in her ward we're seeing from Councillor Saxe.

I've seen quite a few now and can infer the following (supported by some inside knowledge as well)

1) She's really not afraid of height, she'll oppose the absurd, but is otherwise happy to support height, and more than was asked for in some cases, in exchange for things she wants.

2) She loves drinking fountains

3) She likes investments in public realm/streetscape

4) She's keen on cycling

5) She's more than open to off-site parkland dedications, in fact, I'd go so far as to say they might be her preference.

There's a lot to like up there.

It looks like one great big oversized main floor lobby. I thought they would at least want to offer the coffee shop to go back in on the main floor once the condo (or rental building) is built.
