I actually got a response from the city!

"Hi Shawn,

Thanks so much for copying us on this, it’s a wonderful idea!

The lot you’re speaking about is privately owned, it’s not City property, and I don’t believe there is any development application for the property at this time. Until there is, it will remain as is. Once the property owner proposes a new use, City Planning Department staff will work with them to decide what will go there, though the property owner will get to determine their priorities. It’s zoned for 35 different permitted use categories, which means the possibilities are many, but the City can’t direct them to choose a particular use.

I hope this is clear and makes sense! Once again, I really appreciate your idea for this site and that you reached out about it.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Like anything it is a tool. Typewriters said the same thing about computers, traditional artists the same with digital art. I needed to show an idea so I used what I needed to get that point across in a timely manner. It was only meant to give an impression of that.. an idea, and I think the exterior image in front of the design district does well to showcase that. A picture's worth 1000 words.. although I probably included 1000 words anyways as did the statement of cultural significance. Noone else on here is proposing anything on this site, not sure why anyone would object to me taking a stab at it.. at least I tried, and at least the idea is in their hands now, even if it's never implemented, it was fun to try.

As someone who works in the AI industry I will withhold my opinion for the Anti-AI crowd as this is not the place lol but I will say to Chronamut that I thought that was a great use of AI to get your idea across!
 
…probably been more effective and to the point if Chonamut-san didn’t use AI here. As I am also sure the city person receiving this email was critted by a wall of text. >.<

It's a forum, EVERYTHING is a wall of text..

They appreciated it nonetheless, so in the end the ends justified the means. I feel no guilt.
 
That corner box section just looks terrible, it's like they didn't know what to do and just gave up!?
