Maybe live/work?If they were residential wouldn't they have a kitchen... or at least something roughed in for a kitchen to be added?
Does anyone have more up-to-date floor plans?

YMCA is going bye-bye in a few years and will probably be redeveloped so won't be too major of a concern for too long.Seems EXTREMELY dangerous to have residential on ground floor directly across from the YMCA where.. questionable things happen at night.. seems like a safety hazard.. at least commercial units would have security cameras.. I don't know...
So are these two storey units? Office or biz on first floor and residential above or what? These are live/work units which explains their odd appearance from first glance. I do wonder how that will fare in Hamilton. I can't think of any new live/work units in Hamilton, and certainly not new units.
Um MOST of hamilton has become that - live/work is traditionally an office or work space in the first floor with living space in the back or on the second floor.. it's historically worked QUITE well.. that's basically all hamilton was originally..These are live/work units which explains their odd appearance from first glance. It seems many units here still haven't sold, I'm curious how many are still for sale, many units in the upper floors seem vacant viewing from nearby.
can confirm as I have a view of this building from mine at least the north side of it has very few lights on in the units. Just a handful shows life in them.It seems many units here still haven't sold, I'm curious how many are still for sale, many units in the upper floors seem vacant viewing from nearby.
My first thought when I saw these photos was "that corner parking lot desperately needs to be developed"They really need to put something up where the hotel used to be and hide that awkward wall area.
