Toronto BMO Field Renovations (FIFA26) | MLSE | Gensler

Are the east stand seats what we can expect all the stands to look like for the tournament? Without the Toronto FC branding but still red and the maple leaf? Really hoping it's not black and grey from the renders

The seats in the middle that make up the white maple leaf and surrounding red square are brand new, so I assume that they will be there for the tournament as well.

IIRC, there was never any other branding on that side of the stadium.

Is all of this here at the North end permanent? (I know there will be temporary stands on top and in front). Will the future building basically abut the Food building?
No. Read the last couple pages

New to this thread...is it just me or do the new permanent north suites seem like they are a LONG way from completion? Obviously they'll be able to erect the temporary seats above and below in a few weeks...but man, to still have steel install happening for the suites, that's a lot of work in 4 months.

I wonder if the unexpected bad winter has set them back.

Seeing these temporary stands makes me think of Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, which has a "temporary" south stand bleachers that's now been there for years (and doesn't seem like there's any plan to either remove them or make them more permanent-feeling):
CNE Stadium (/Speedway) had a south stand built specifically for the CFL Argos from 1959-1974. I just barely remember seeing it there as a small child and was never inside it, but from the photos it looks like it might have been intended to be somewhat temporary.

Im hoping as part of this redevelopment they are planning for the increased crowds coming to and from Exhibition GO via the tunnel/bridge and the exhibition streetcar loop.

I was at the Canada v Ecuador game which was a full house and it was a total mess getting out of exhibition place after the game. Granted the north end gates were closed at the time but there's going to be a lot of non ticketholder activity and gathering around this area

i believe they built the bridge and expanded Exhibition GO for exactly this reason as an alternative to the tunnel.
