Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

^Which on a side note, is a plan I hope never sees the light of day because the city is asking for big trouble with that.

That would be nothing but pure chaos with traffic having to funnel around that whole area, with Harbour St being straightened out and heavy traffic volumes being forced to head northbound on Yonge.

It's a deeply flawed plan that would just create a pure mess and even more gridlock.

Let's just demo the stupid thing instead.

I blinked and Toronto has 3 supertalls. I’ve been a ghost, following this site since 2012. Always hoping for Toronto to crack 300 meters so the last few months have been incredibly exciting. Now I get to wait probably another 12-20 years before we see 400+ meters. Time will tell. Congratulations Toronto. Your skyline literally blew up & is looking insane. 🫢

From two vantage points: Regent Park then Google.

are they seriously going to slap a box on top and ruin the roof line?
There is a bit of a debate going on about that one as some of us believe the elevation diagram has the top part of the facade cut off in the picture to show where the top of the mechanical is either way the box needs to be there as it houses the TMD as well as other life support systems for the building Just hoping that the glass raises up enough to block it from most angles I would have actually loved to see the cladding on this come to a point at the top give the building a similar feel to the spire in Russia

I think the diagram was intended to clearly present the levels and mechanical details and doesn't mean that the glass crown portion was dropped.
