No formal presentations and no decisions will be made at this open house. A future public meeting will be coordinated by the City of Toronto at Toronto East York Community Council.

This is fantastic. No shadows on the park. Lots of affordable units. More people get to enjoy a view of this beautiful urban green space.

I hate that people oppose everything.

Agreed. There needs to be a balance between preservation and growth/evolution, and some folks just don't like change.

It's annoying because Torontonians have demonstrated their unwillingness to maintain the city's heritage fabric on their own. Swathes of neglected and poorly altered historic buildings that only get the restoration they need with densification projects like this. How can they say these projects impact the historic character when they do nothing to maintain these buildings in the first place?

Thanks! Just for me I want to ask if the heritage interior elements of the sanctuary are being saved for reuse in the rebuilt space? Also, what are people’s feelings about the (stunning) two-storey amenity room above the podium? This is a welcome idea and would provide views over the park. Another possible event/arts venue? How high is this space as from the scale of the rendering folk it is 3-4s?!
