^Will the Don bridge be shifted incrementally as they run out of space at the west end - or will it be a single shift all the way eastwards when more is completed?
From the shots to date, it appears they are running out of working room on the west end - is the theory that the crane is effectively fixed so all the assembly happens in one work station, and the bridge moves as it grows? It will be getting heavier and more to move as each linear section is added.
I'm sure there is a reason why they didn't start fabricatiing with the east end in its eventual position, or at least closer to it - wondering what that reason is.

Expect 6 months delay from this timeline due to Queen station shafts design is currently being revised. There might be a pause of excavation at this station once it reaches bottom of piles (bedrock level).
design changes this late?

There will be one shift once the first half of the bridge is complete, slated for end of January. There is more room to the West outside the frame of the last photo.

Christmas Day construction update!

In addition to the amazing drone shots, here are some pics of things on the ground around the Dundas and Logan bridges. These images show how big the add-on for the Ontario line will be, beyond the space needed for GO/VIA.

Great pics but that additional space isn’t all for OL… there are currently only 2 tracks operational for GO/VIA on the eastern section of the rails and bridges and there will ultimately be 4 tracks for GO/VIA +2 for OL. What is being built right now is essentially the room for the additional +2 GO/VIA and +2 OL tracks. That said - Hope this is a lot more complete by summer since the dust and grime in the area really sucks.
