Merry Christmas UT:

A bit late in the day; but its been busy, LOL.......

My best wishes not only for today, but looking ahead to 2026 for every UT member..........even those 'keep off my grass' old men; and those who repeat themselves ad nauseum.

I hope everyone is able to celebrate holidays with family or friends......and able to take some needed respite from the hectic nature of day to day life.

My sincere gratitude to all who contribute here.

This year, more than any to date, I have had the great honour to be trusted by so many as a repository for not yet public information, and in many cases, the person to ensure it becomes public, while protecting the people brave enough to share.

I take it as a personal responsibility to always use and share information respectfully and carefully and to protect those who seek to expose things that merit public knowledge and discussion.

I equally want to thank members of the media who have asked more than ever for help w/their stories on some of the above, and whom I have done my best to assist.

For all its challenges, I hope 2025 was a worthwhile year for most, and regardless than 2026 brings more opportunity and more joy.

Regards to all

NL

Merry Christmas as well from the (near) north. An unplanned quiet non-event here. I'm just getting over a sinus infection, 15m old grandson was in Emerg Christmas eve for what turned out to be an ear infection; son-in-law (his dad) is sick, my missus is down with I suspect is the flu (actually sitting up today), so we've just put everything off for a few days.

Tough couple of days there for everyone. My best to you and yours, hopefully everyone is feeling 100% by New Years (or sooner)

Ya, her and our daughter keep talking about 'tomorrow' for actually doing the Christmas thing, but 'tomorrow' keeps getting pushed back. I've told them that the one-day turn around from an illness might work when we're 20 but not anymore. Everyday, her body keeps coming up with new fun symptoms.

This was me ten days ago. Wife had the ear infection, daughter was on the mend, and I was taken out with the flu :(
Hang in there @lenaitch

Tnx. I'm mainly trying not to get sick as well. Keeping three dogs including a puppy entertained (read: halfways quiet) is a full time job. Our neighbour sent over some amazing homemade chicken soup last night. The missus isn't eating solid food but I really enjoyed it. I'm trying to get her to at least down some Gatorade and Ensure. She peeled an orange this morning and said 'it tasted funny'.
