The 6ixbuzz instagram page is undoubtedly a cesspool and should not be looked at for more than two minutes (even that is too much). But it is followed by 2.5M people, most of them teenagers and young adults (mostly men) within the GTA & Ontario, so it carries quite the influence.

It does show the frustration and hostile anger many have with society & the feeling that their governments do not care at all about them, which manifests itself in a variety of comments, and I imagine this frustration will persist post-Trump, long as this audience feels like things are not improving here at home.

What blows my mind is that it's basically all self regulated, so CBC, CTV, etc all designate themselves as news and are blocked. But this social media cancer doesn't categorize themselves as news while constantly posting headlines and photos from news sites and disingenuously asks "What do you think?" to their hateful followers. Meta clearly doesn't care at all because there's no way to flag or submit a complaint about it.

So your proof is that someone was investigated, and resigned. No charges, no evidence presented to the public, nothing.

That's what you think is proof that Ukraine is "one of the most corrupt countries in the world" and that the president is corrupt?

The only thing wrong with the Reagan ad is Ford pulled it as soon as Trump complained about it most likely at the insistence of Carney who we see in that clip making all kinds of stupid faces.

The reality is Trump has no interest in taking tariffs off of Canada. He has no interest in reaching a "deal" with Canada while our manufacturing industries are being crushed under Trump's tariffs resulting with jobs moving south. Trump doesn't want to buy anything from Canada that can be made in the US. Once he has hollowed out our industries, he will lift tariffs so Canadians will buy American made products. Are Canadians OK with that arrangement? Do Canadians even realize what Trump's objective is? The Americans want to bring back manufacturing jobs and Canada is the easiest country to poach manufacturing jobs. Trump is not going to be able to poach jobs from Mexico or China.

Prior to this meeting Carney blamed Ford in French media interviews for blowing up the negotiations. Ford actually did Canada a favor by exposing what should have been obvious to everyone. Trump has no interest in removing tariffs on Canadian manufactured goods and services. The supposed "deal" that Ford supposedly blew up was a removal of tariffs on Canadian energy including uranium and construction of the Keystone pipeline. The last thing we need is to sell more oil to the Americans.

It has been a year now since Trump declared economic war on Canada and in all that time the Reagan ad was the only attempt to make the case for Canada directly to the American public. On 45% of Americans know what a tariff is! Imagine if Canada had started a campaign a year ago educating Americans that Tariffs=TAXES! I doubt we would be in the mess we are in right now.
