Toronto No. 31 Condos | 153.63m | 46s | Lanterra | Arquitectonica

This actually could've looked decent had Lanterra paid a bit more for some quality cladding.

Instead they cheeped out for literally some of the worst stuff you'll ever see in your life, and the result is absolute appalling gutter trash.
I agree. Imagine if they used real quality masonry like the building next door. This could have been a landmark.

I wanna box the ears of everyone who screamed that if we didn’t let devs build taller and taller we’d never solve the housing crisis. Well now we got ourselves a highrise of 300sqft units for $950k. Cool

Continues to look like crap up close. Especially right beside Goode and it’s hand laid brick.

The way this building should have remained 20 stories and Good should have gotten 15 more.

It’s utterly bizarre to me that for as much as this city demands that buildings do that sloping step approach on main roads -as to what, avoid shadows?- that they would have approved 31 dwarfing Goode like this. It’s evil. One of the more curious, and dumber choices this city has made lately.

You're arguing that goode should be able to dwarf this one though? Do you live in Goode or something ? 😅

I think most of us wish that Goode dwarfed this abomination. Imagine a walk from Aqualuna to perhaps Lanterra's newest V-E low.

I initially thought "what a great location for a landmark flat-iron!".

Now that I see it, if my local mall laid down Home Depot pavers that look like this... I'd tear it all up under cover of night. 👻

The Construction Manager from Lanterra on this project needs glasses. The variance in the gaps between different panels is embarrassing. How can this be acceptable?
