Final section of sidewalk between Don Mills and Leslie is being rebuilt.
The bear has now grown so exhausted of looking and waiting for an Eglinton LRV, that it's decided to sit down and rest in sadness.
For those who care, the opening date for the park with the bear is less than a week away, on Tuesday November 18.
However...
It was also said the park's name, Crosstown Park South (not to be confused with South Park) is just temporary, and a new name will be announced before the park opens.
Recent posts are calling it Big Bear Park, but emphasizing this is the park's "nickname" (which means what local people call it unofficially, but there are no local people, the neighbourhood is all under construction, so it's the developers' own "nickname").
Also, it's too fancy for a nickname, I think. Bear Park would have been sufficient..
So I don't know if there is another "real" name not announced yet. And the time of the opening ceremony (it sounds like there will be one) has not been announced.
So maybe the planned opening date is a phony. (Well, it's Crosstown, so who would be surprised!)
If there is a ceremony, I'll probably nip over, since it's local to me.
Definitely not. Celestica's grounds, with multiple office and warehouse buildings, took up the whole area which is beingIs the plan for Celestica to move back into this building btw ? They're currently based out of NYCC.

I suppose they could. I'm surprised there is only the one business there; I presume the building is mostly unoccupied.Oh no, I knew thisBut I thought they were going to move back into the office building built here.
HH Angus has the top two floors here. The remaining six floors are currently vacant.I suppose they could. I'm surprised there is only the one business there; I presume the building is mostly unoccupied.
There was a full floor Celestica lease but they've backed out and it's currently available for sub.Is the plan for Celestica to move back into this building btw ? They're currently based out of NYCC.
