What are they doing, you say? It looks like they took those things that look like stacks of wrapped, never-used tires that have been blocking the bus bays for ages, and put them in rubbish bins, then put some new stacks of construction materials out to block the bus bays with something else instead. I suppose it's a sign they won't be opening in September. 🙄
(BTW, is anyone ever going to fix the problem that when you try to insert a smiley in a post, the system inserts a different one, so we have to go looking for another? Or is that only happening to me?)

Likely Ontario Line 3's Don Valley Station construction and connection to Line 5. It should be an overhead station box.and trail tracks
Don't know about that. With such a big construction area blocked off for the station, I don't know why they would be storing contruction materials at the other end of the bus bays. Also, why would they need construction materials for the new part of the station, when they haven't even dug a hole for it yet? I think Natika was right to be suspicious, it looks to me like they're making last minute changes, perhaps rebuilding something that was already built, but done wrong. I know, I'm a pessimist. Maybe they're going to build a shelter for people standing out in the cold in the temporary bus park, if buses can't use the bays. Oh no, now I'm being an optimist.

Monarch, I just looked at your map again. I notice there are 7 bus stops surrounding the intersection. They are everywhere, EXCEPT on the west side of Don Mills by the SW corner, where the benches for people waiting for the bus are located. (And they're STILL behind a fence (old picture shown)).

I wish that were why, but just this summer they fenced off the western entrance and western part of the Line 5 area so that Ontario Line construction could proceed without infringing. I should note that I also saw them tearing up a section of the sidewalk they just built!

Hoo-ray, hoo-ray! (Or should it be spelled, Huzzah?) They FINALLY took down the fences surrounding the benches on the southwest corner. Now we have a place to sit down.
Also, the fire hydrant is accessible, for the benfit of all firefighters and dogs. 🧑‍🚒🚒🐕‍🦺

On the same corner, there is a shelter (well, sort of) with 2 seats (well, sort of).

On the northwest corner, there is also a bus stop, but officially nowhere to sit, although you could sit on the edge of the planters.

Here is another place you could sit, if the fences were not there.

On the northeast corner, until recently, you could sit down on the big round planter with standing stone. Now that that's been removed, no seats have been installed to replace it. You have to stand.

There are bus stops on all four corners! The southeast corner has nowhere to sit at all.

One more picture from the same intersection. Just north of where the planter with standing stone used to be, there is a big pile of rubble. I think this used to be the planter. I'm not sure if the standing stone itself is here. That may be it on the right, but I'm not certain. Last time they took the planter away, then built a new one, they saved the standing stone so they could put it back later. The planter is never coming back, but I would have thought they would save the stone and install it somewhere else.

I was at the Big Bear Park opening ceremony today, but I'll post pictures of it on the Crosstown Place thread. On my way there, I saw a couple of interesting things:

There is a big object on the southeast corner of the intersection, leaning to one side, which I think it's not supposed to do. It's leaing against the chain link fence, and if the fence were not there, the object might have collapsed completely!

On the north side, there is some big drilling equipment on Don Mills Road, north of the station.
