Went over to take a look after I saw the above - viewed from Dundas at Sorauren today, Tuesday (Sept 23). Perhaps that was one reason for the crane to be raised - so the remaining blue scaffolds at the top can be placed on the roof (as seen above) briefly.... anyway, the blue scaffolds are now gone on the west face as work prepares, presumably, for work on the crown. Not sure what that taller object on the left side of the roof is.

I'm pretty sure that the crane was raised in order to build out the crown as the height that it was sitting at would not have given the operator overwatch I think we will see a similar scaffolding configuration at the top as we did when they built the ground floor as all of those supports of the crown will need to be temporarily supported while they are fastened I can't imagine those being light pieces of steel

Photos taken today, Friday (Sept. 26). Since the post I did last Friday, more progress on the tower, with all the scaffolding now removed from the top, the blue scaffolds on the east, north and west-facing sides now gone, after the corner scaffolds were taken down in the weeks before. Presumably we'll see some visible work start soon on the crown for the final stretch of the tower. Meanwhile, the black Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the building's skin have all crept as they close in on the top. The east and north RCSs are up a floor to level 70, within 14 floors of the roof. The west RCS is up a floor to 69, as is the south mini-RCS.

The usual pile of photos... with the side scaffolds now gone we can see some notches in the west and east faces, on levels 83/84 or so. A semi-circular hole in the roof visible on the west side.
