Same amount.Mine is one bedroom too 2017 bought , now they want $480k
How much are they asing u now for the one bed?
so I called the Real estate company that KSV hired and they said like almost 60% of first batch accepted so they are processing those and will continue same with all batches until the final , then court will continue the process building and returning deposits of those not going ahead, and the same real estate will sell the remaining UNITS.. Also if accept the APS your existing agreement will continue with those two ammendments that they send.. price and dates. I will forward my copy to my lawyer to check it.Nothing yet for me, I bought Oasis (3br with terrace + 2 parking) for $569k in 2018. At this rate they're gonna want $800k, but what they're gonna get is my middle finger.
Without dismissing individual situations, I have to believe that the people accepting are investors...condo market is in a lull right now and many can't qualify for additional mortgages at this rate, so they're holding on and hoping that 2027 is a more opportune time. If anyone is buying to live, I feel like there are many pre-built places at very comparable prices to choose from, which don't have the risk of dev charges, additional delays, shoddy and rushed construction, etc.so I called the Real estate company that KSV hired and they said like almost 60% of first batch accepted so they are processing those and will continue same with all batches until the final , then court will contiune the process building and returning deposits of those not going ahead, and the same real estate will sell the remaining UNITS.. Not sure about the real estate company but i guess they dont care if people accept o not they get to sell them again.. thats my thoughts.Holy fudge they accepted LOL!
Perhaps the real estate company is lying ? If not, that is ridiculous lol.
For those rejecting, how do you get deposits back? And what is the timeline?
Their meaning of in due course means a long time. For those that chose not to accept the amendment will be taken care of last. Ksv needs to return to court so who knows when they get a court date thennnn Tarion comes into play where we need to apply through them for our deposits to be returned. Time for us all to reach out to our lawyersI received my aps. Originally bought a Haven in 2017 for 620k. Now asking for 862k.
So if we reject the new price, we will receive our entire deposit back? It says they are covered by insurance
It says:
If you choose not to proceed with the amendment, instructions will be provided in due course for requesting a deposit refund following the termination of your purchase agreement. The Receiver understands that purchaser deposits (excluding any funds allocated to upgrades) are protected by a Trisura insurance policy.

Getting confusing now. If we have to file a claim through Tarion I cant see getting deposits back in 10 days. KSV certainly know how to play their cards right. They knew after court date last year what was coming and will drag out till April 25Tarion says it will only cover 20k if not placed in a trust. Our deposits are in a trust correct? It says they must return within 10 days after termination
