Looks like every single Katalyst project is on the market, and from what I can tell they're all power of sales. I'm guessing bankruptcy?

The Leon’s to the east of this site was for sale as well but it doesn’t seem to be listed anymore. 2870 - 2872 was listed with cbre. Not sure if it sold. Notice was required by Nov 1 2023 if they planned to terminate the lease with Leon’s. I know this isnt the right place to share this but there doesn’t seem to be a post in UT for this.

Drove by here this morning and the windows are all boarded up. Can't seem to find the listing anymore, so hopefully this means there is some activity for this site.

The business (furniture store) has closed; beyond that, I'm not aware of anything.

The proposed application here was never approved, it only got to Preliminary Report.

So I suspect this one is some distance from real action.

There are no permits in process of any kind on this site.

There was a planned assembly there. Seems to have gone dead as Leons bought it.

I missed this was Markee who bought the site. Some of their other projects show well, so hopefully the put forward a meaningful design for the area. It would really help to kickstart the revitalization on the North side of Danforth, and could also be a good media story assuming they are looking at a quality mid-rise product. Lots of high-rise competition across the street, so if people are looking for a transit adjacent midrise option, this could be a great pick. Regardless, it will be precedent setting for the area on the North side of Danforth, so hopefully the get it right.
