5th floor structure is complete, forming underway for the 7th floor.

Seems very slow. Received an update from builder and says envelope will be seen in fall. Wish it happened

The starting pace, on the lower floors was slow, further slowed as were many projects by a strike that delayed things about a month.

Right now, the pace is one floor every 10-14 days.

That's not too bad.

They seem to be picking up speed a bit.

The building won't top out before spring next year I wouldn't think. But cladding and glazing could certainly appear much sooner than that.
 
I didn't realize how large the floor slab is on this one. It's not a svelte building. It's going to go a long way to filling out the Main Square cluster

Notes: forming is just being finished up on the 10th level and starting go up on the 11the storey.

As noted above, pre-cast brick is being installed on the lower levels, some close-ups are provided.

It doesn't look that bad, so far at least. The precast helps it relate to Main Square across the street, and the stepbacks give it a little visual interest. It's not going to win any design awards, but it's not an unreasonable imposition on Main and Danforth
