Cedar Fair submitted a trademark application for the hotel similar to those in sister park Cedar Point, which means that Cedar Fair is investing heavily into Canada's Wonderland, even after merging with Six Flags. After all, even after Cedar Fair's merger with Six Flags, the new Six Flags still considers Canada's Wonderland the golden goose and the regional flagship of the Northeast Region (Cedar Point is the flagship of the Midwest Region).
