There was a work crew at the eagle (?) this afternoon, just finishing up for the day when I went by. One of them told me that the tiling around the eagle should be all finished up on Friday.

I'd like to see the underside of the balcony just above the eagle to be sealed similarly to the underside of the floors beside it. Or at the least painted! D'oh!

There was also a window washer going to town on the garage spandrels.

A couple of storefront shops are in place: a convenience store to the west f the front door, and a realtor to the east of it (beside the garage door, below).

Well, I know what I'm having nightmares about tonight! That eagle reminds me of the insane horse statue at Denver International Airport

Now if they would just finish off the 'tiled' sidewalk at The Esplanade and Yonge. They started it late last fall, winter arrived, they stopped and have not yet returned!

Seems like they solved their flow or chemical treatment problems. They were ready for St Pats day but only one month away from fall. Amazing lap pool. I’m not sure if it’s actually open. No swimmers yet.

  • It opened this week!
  • Some new replacement grass, chairs. Nice!
  • The ramp does look like a code miss.
  • 300? 400? 500? people in the building
I wonder how many lap swimmers? 30? So jealous. I’ll need to make a new friend.

  • The ramp does look like a code miss.

Definitely looks like they messed up on that, considering the yellow painted stair edges, that ramp stuck onto the stairs, and the white handrails/fencing.

A definite shame, as this does look to be one of the more substantial terraces out there.

I was told by the condo board that the ramp is temporary until the bulider build a proper ramp.

So maybe in another 3 or 4 years?
