Aqualung is reportedly the final phase. It'll be harder edged initially but with a '70s groove.

One of the photos in post #103 showed 2 piers jutting in to the harbour -- anyone know when those are supposed to happen?

My understanding is that the whole waterfront promenade (from Yonge eastward, at least) is supposed to get a wooden deck extension with various piers (this is based off of Waterfront Toronto plans). However, I haven't heard anything about timing or guaranteeing it will happen (though I desperately hope it does).

I think a shout out to Arthur Erickson (rip) may be for his (long ago) contribution to west Queens Quay. Modest height, terracing down to grade, embracing the sun/water.... perhaps a reference that was considered given East Bayfront's evolution (particularly the last 3 Aqua-whatevers). AquaLuna could be the star of the show if executed well.

Why is it so bland at street level? The bottom doesn't match the top and for me, what happens at street level is the most important thing.

At the very least, I am loving the landscape architecture here. The red is a nice touch compared to the rest of the parcel which is more blueish.
