Today. The rooftop amenities look a lot tidier now.

Some news: GG will be renovating the Bloor entrance. The revolving door will be removed and replaced by sliding doors and a rectangular vestibule. From the description it seems like the new entrance will look nice. Why are they replacing the door? Many reasons ranging from cold air blowing in on the concierge to the air rushing up the elevator shaft and causing issues.

The Nordstroms will be ready by this spring. McCewans Q1 of 2019.

GG did a pretty good job overall admitted some errors and are correcting them. The amenities will look amazing once completed.

This project started construction back in October of 2011 and its still not complete. IMO, that is unacceptable, and shows that the pace of construction on all projects are even slower than that of a snail.

How fast do you expect things to be built? And why should you have a say in how fast a private company builds something?

Ah, yes, this attitude. I see it all the time at work (custom construction).
People think that if they throw money at it and snap a finger then, magically, workers will agree to work 14 hrs a day; the weather will cooperate; international supply chains will run like Swiss watches; human error will be eliminated; illness will be eradicated; fully trained and experienced workers will appear from the ether; materials shortages will be a thing of the past; suppliers will jump through hoops to accommodate your special project, and so on.

Usually the attitude of people who think building things is like putting together LEGO blocks and that money makes them right. (Contrary to popular belief, the customer isn't always right....the customer is an idiot a good deal of the time).

The sidewalk stretch of the building along Yonge is missing trees, or any kind of vegetation would be nice to balance the concrete and glass
