True that it's attractive from the exterior, but I thinks the diagrid would disrupt the view from too many units. Not every buyer appreciates that aesthetic.
Anyone who has followed this project from the beginning knows that there is no hope of profit, the lender/owner is only trying to minimize how much they lose. There is plenty of documentation in this thread if you choose to educate yourself.
Highly unlikely. No reason to disassemble all the equipment over the core, or switch to steel beams at the mega columns if they intended to build additional residential floors. And the garden decks were always at the same level as the TMD, accessed from the four multi level penthouses. Not sure...
That seems right. The plans pdf I have shows sub-penthouses (2 units on each floor) on 79-81, then the three level penthouses (4 of them) on 82-84. Private terraces for the penthouses, and the TMD on 85. Not sure if this has changed in order to add more/smaller units.
The outdoor garden levels of The One were not public, they were associated with the penthouses. And not sure if those units are still being built. There was a public gallery space somewhere in the building that was supposed to be provided as part of the height increase, but yeah, that's probably...
I miss those days! They were pouring in jer1961's photos from Friday, my guess is that was the slab for 82. They were delivering the rebar for the mega columns in Benito's monday post.
