I follow quite a few photographers on Instagram. A few of them post this building regularly. I spoke to one guy who told me it's his fav building in Toronto to photograph. He has some awesome shots!
This thing won't be topped out until 2028 at the rate it's going. Im so curious to see how it turns out, the cladding they use, and if they will proceed with the 2nd tower. Hopefully with rates dropping into 2025 it will create a better environment for buyers.
All it takes is a deep recession and the rates will be right back to 2020. One thing I've learned is that predicting the future about rates/housing is impossible. Great Gulf is a reputable and solid builder, and this isn't an ordinary tall tower project. It's going to be iconic. Investors are...
By the time they start marketing the 2nd tower I imagine it'll be 2026, when you can get a 5 year fixed rate for 3.49% , should help affordability and IMO condo sales should start rebounding around this time. Also, these towers are iconic so I imagine they will sell better than most.
Given they already have the approval for 91 storeys, the most logical business solution would be to build high and chop the bigger units into smaller more affordable units. I can see why the 7-10 million dollar units aren't selling, but if all of a sudden they became 2-4 million dollar smaller...
I was in Toronto this weekend and got a few shots of this beauty. You really can't appreciate how insane this tower is going to look once complete. It's already impressive and its nowhere close to being finished. It's going to change the Toronto skyline in so many ways. Also the glass looks...
I was downtown this weekend. Took some shots of CIBC. Sorry if it's a duplication of what's already been posted. This one is climbing so fast. And it's going to fill in the skyline from many vantage points.
