Weird to see the same Geoff Kettel (Super NIMBY) show up in this article...he's literally responsible for 100's of less housing units over the last decade in midtown Toronto.

Substantially nicer than the crackhouse that existed here for decades.

I heard demo started on this high rise. Can anyone confirm or deny? Would be amazing to see a rental this size getting started in today's economic climate.

Does anyone know what trade is fabricating and installing this metal ribbon detail?

Yummy...Gus Tacos. This building leaves much to be desired from a design and aesthetic standpoint. Curious to see how it rents up vs TAS project around the corner.

I bet those upper floor views are pretty nice. Can probably see the lake.

Does this feel architecturally underwhelming to anyone else? Tough to construct something special on this parcel I guess.

I'm having a hard time complaining about the masonry efforts on this one. Also like the curtain wall cut in the middle. The length of this project is pretty exceptional.

Great to get more density in this node. Nicer designed new midrise buildings to the east should help make up for some of the architectural miss here.

Hullmark seems to be putting together another banger here. Well done.

This looks great. Has come along why from the original ~30unit mass timber proposal. Also cool to see their Junction Point project in the same rendering.
